Kansas City Internal Medicine, P.A., which operated in Overland Park, Kansas City, and Lee’s Summit, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  The company had approximately 170 employees at one time and assisted more than 135,000 patients a year.  Most of the doctors and some of the employees have been hired by HCA Midwest.
