Over 42,000 Missouri workers have filed unemployment claims for the week of March 20th, almost 96.2% over the week before. Kansas has over 23,000 within that same week. This has made their record sky rocket all the way to 1,250% that of their normal unemployment rate for the state!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A spokesperson for the US Department of Labor has stated that the unemployment claims had reached 3.28 million, just 3 million over from the week before which makes it the largest number of unemployed Americans in just one week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
