Filing for bankruptcy for them means putting a stop to the hundreds of lawsuits they are currently up against. This is a turning point for the historical Boy Scouts Organization, which have, for several years, been blamed for failing to screen for sexual predators.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In some states, a law was passed allowing individuals to come forward to file sex-abuse lawsuits disregarding when the alleged abuse took place.
