The stimulus payments being\nmade are not to be taken by homes in order to pay any expenses, as they belong\nto individual Americans who fit the guidelines for payment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A spokesman from the Iowa Attorney General\u2019s Office said that if the nursing home or assisted living facility has taken that money from you, you can contact your state attorney general to assist you in getting your funds back and filing a complaint with the FTC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you feel\nthat you have been a victim of fraud during the pandemic?
