Quinn, a Rochester attorney, has been suspended from practicing law, ruled by a split Minnesota Supreme Court. After an investigation, it was revealed that Quinn embezzled funds from clients and failed to effectively advise them.\u00a0 The attorney was ordered to be suspended indefinitely, with no right to request for reinstatement for a year and a half. This will go into effect 14 days after the court\u2019s ruling. However, the Director of the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility filed a petition claiming Quinn defrauded a client\u2019s filing fee, safeguard fee, failed to return the funds back to the client, failed to communicate with 2 clients, and also failed to cooperate with the director during the investigation.
