Riding in a Stolen Car

A Missouri court has recently ruled that simply riding as a passenger in a stolen car is not a criminal act.  In order to possess a stolen vehicle, the person must have operated or driven the vehicle at some point.  Simply riding in a vehicle is not enough evidence to convict a person.
