Corporations Need Court Representation by Attorneys

The Kansas Supreme Court has recognized only four (4) categories of individuals who may appear in court:

  1. Kansas-licensed Attorneys; and
  2. Law School Graduates with a Temporary Permit to Practice Law; and 3. Legal Interns; and 4. Individuals who Represent Themselves.

Both Kansas and Missouri require corporations to be represented by a licensed attorney.
