Passport Denied? Did you pay your Taxes?

In 2015, Congress passed a law that required the IRS and State department to take action against those who have failed to pay taxes. Those who owe can be denied new passports or be denied a renewal.

If you owe more than $51,000 in overdue taxes then the IRS and State department can not only prevent you from receiving a passport, but they can also revoke your passport if you already have one.

Enforcement began early this year in February and over 362,000 Americans can be affected if they do not settle these debts with the IRS.
