It’s Called Random Drug Testing for a Reason

drug test

Many people work at companies where drug testing is common practice in order to retain employment. Recently, a Missouri resident tried to refuse a mandatory drug test by their employer based on the idea that it was inhumane and unfair due to the lack of suspicion. The courts, however, upheld the Labor and Industrial Relations Commissions decision to deny benefits to the employee for misconduct since the policy was to randomly drug test, regardless of suspicion. Missouri Use Tax

use tax

Be careful what you buy on Amazon and other online stores! All tangible personal property that you store, use, or consume in the state of Missouri is subject to a use tax. It does not apply, however, to goods that have been purchased through a Missouri retailer and been subjected to the state sales tax. The taxable amount is the sales price plus any service charges that are considered to be part of the sale. The intent of the parties to the sale determines whether or not a service charge is considered part of the sale. Both are now charged with conspiracy, tax evasion, making and subscribing false tax returns, and obstruction of an IRS audit.
