With that being said, the companies have started to return the PPP loans due to the force of the Trump administration and the public.

Kansas City Steel Werx Inc., took on a job as steel and labor subcontractors to help build a development project. This took a sharp turn when KC Steel filed a mechanic’s lien for around $400,000 against The District City Center LLC. It turns out, the filing was incomplete which gave the District City Center a chance to file a motion to dismiss it.

Boy Scouts File Bankruptcy

See the source image

The Boy Scouts of America are under intense pressure with allegations of sexual child abuse going back as far as 30 years ago. Filing for bankruptcy for them means putting a stop to the hundreds of lawsuits they are currently up against. This is a turning point for the historical Boy Scouts Organization, which have, for several years, been blamed for failing to screen for sexual predators.

In some states, a law was passed allowing individuals to come forward to file sex-abuse lawsuits disregarding when the alleged abuse took place. The Boy Scouts have stated that the cost to defend and resolve these allegations is over $150,000 in settlements as well as legal fees.
